Remodeling finished on this day at "The Bar" in Brownsville, TX. I was allowed to go in and photograph the finished work right as they were finally opening back up after being closed for remodeling for so long. It came out great, and it has been packed consistently now that they're back in business. I arrived as soon as they were opening up, and usually bars and clubs are very dim, so I didn't have much light to work with. I set up a tripod and stacked my photos to get clearer images of the areas I was photographing. More photos in the portfolio.

One of the events that I enjoy going to every year is the Palm City Tattoo Expo in McAllen, TX. I have been going ever since when they first started, and I have always felt from the first year that it is very welcoming and inviting for everyone. Whether you're covered in tattoos, just have a few small tattoos, or even none at all and just want to learn more about art, this expo is for everyone, including family. They have chairs in front of a stage where they do some fun games and competitions that you can enjoy, as well as vendors of art, coffee, and at times handcrafted items.
